A pretty windy day and a good session in the estuary. It was high tide and the sea looked pretty big so Simon and I headed to the Estuary.

I had a quick go with my 4.5m but that was far too big so I quickly came back in and rigged my 4m. Simon rigged the same. We had a few goes over the channel on the Ynyslas side of the estuary then went out to the spit, walked across it and sailed for a bit in the main channel, out past the bouy and across towards Graveyards. It was pretty mad out there so we headed back to the estuary and then had a good session blasting back and forth through the squalls. At times it was impossible to see anything other than a wall of white as the rain hammered down. With gusts to 50 knots we were pretty well powered most of the time, but there was an occasional lull when we sunk.

All in all good fun though.
